"AQUI HÁ BEIRA"
The Beira Baixa Promotion Center was inaugurated on January 6 at the Fenianos Portuenses Club, in Porto. At the invitation of Dr. Vítor Tito, I had the privilege of attending and photographing the inauguration, associated with Three Kings’ Day and the eve of Orthodox Christmas.
The meeting of cultures was celebrated with performances by the Adufes Group of Idanha-a-Nova and the Ukrainian group Litá, who sang the Janeiras in the Noble Hall of Porto City Hall, paying tribute to the Mayor, Dr. Pedro Duarte, and to the city.
The program continued at the Fenianos Club, featuring regional gastronomy, the opening of the photographic exhibition by Valter Vinagre, and concerts by João Mendonça and the group Litá, as part of a cultural program open to the public for three months.
